Beginning from his early childhood, YARO STAX had a profound interest in music. Following his graduation from art school, he pursued further education in music. At the tender age of 17, he and his classmates formed the punk band "Fly in fetters," where he played the bass guitar to the best of his abilities, despite knowing only a few chords, and also lent his voice to the band. The band's journey was brief, eventually evolving into "The Boundless." After departing from the music school, YARO STAX embarked on an acting journey, touring Ukraine and the Commonwealth of Independent States as a member of the Kiev Youth Theater.
Despite his foray into acting and modeling, YARO's heart remained with music. His academic journey was diverse, including graduation from an economic university. However, music prevailed as his primary passion. "The Boundless" underwent a transformation, birthing new dance hits, and in 1998, triumphed at the "Nova Generation-98" festival.
"The Boundless" emerged as a musical revelation on Ukrainian television in the late '90s, with their music videos "Kiss" and "Without you" catapulting them to fame. From 1998 to 2000, the band's presence was ubiquitous, performing across Ukraine, Poland, and Moldova. However, the journey culminated with their final performance on December 31, 1999.
The turn of the millennium saw YARO STAX venturing into Europe, leading the musical "XL" and immersing himself in global tours. His return to Kiev in 2003 marked a creative resurgence, culminating in the release of a new album and the music video "BLA BLA BLA," directed by the eminent Andrei Novoselov. The album's release in 2004 was followed by extensive tours across 25 cities.
YARO STAX's artistic versatility led him to join the pop band “Na-na” in 2006, a collaboration that lasted two years. Post his departure, he shifted focus to acting, marking his presence in multiple series by 2009. Parallelly, his modeling career flourished, representing major brands and gracing campaigns both in Europe and Asia.
In 2014, YARO STAX marked his musical comeback with the album “This is going to be this way,” released under the MEDIALEND label, accompanied by chart-topping music videos. His creative journey extended to stage direction and extensive travels across Europe, China, and India.
Since 2017, YARO STAX has been residing in Canada, incessantly working on new creative endeavors. In December 2023, he made a striking return with new musical material. The single "Mystery Box" and its accompanying music video, filmed in India, marked his resurgence. February 2024 is anticipated to bring
another significant release, the single "Her name is Ukraine," dedicated to Ukraine's struggle against war and Putin's terror. This single, too, is expected to be bolstered by a compelling music video, further showcasing YARO STAX's commitment to his art and the causes close to his heart. His journey, a tapestry of music, acting, and modeling, continues to evolve, marked by creativity, resilience, and a deep connection to his roots and the world stage.
